I feel as if the media have generated a rivalry btwn. Jenny and Shailene, in the fact both are similar in age, looks, careers.
Its almost like Shailene's mgmt have deliberately pushed her down a route that while safe, allows her to gradually rise up the acting ladder. She strikes me as a Julia Roberts type actress.

she was average in these movies and nothing special with her acting. 
Julian left me in awe. Awful adaptation.
