Poor Mo'Nique for not getting the role. I think she could have played Cookie so well, but this is like the Kerry/Gabrielle/Scandal thing. The right person got it.
Are the ratings for the African-American demographic available? I wonder if it's so high because the show is actually expanding to the white audience, or if it's just that absolutely huge in the black community.
& I can't imagine Monique suppose to play a sexy woman. She can stick to Precious' mother.
The fact that I don't think CL is going to happen actually makes the chances of her happening much greater. Although I did predict that Madonna her next lead single would be a bigger flop than G.U.Y. and that one was right so whooooo knows.
