Marina's first album was literally loaded with jams. It's kind of fascinating the complete nosedive in quality she had when she tried going full-on commercial.
Not that The Family Jewels was some sort of Neutral Milk Hotel type avant garde indie masterpiece or anything, but at least back then she at least tried to hide her mainstream aspirations a little.
Urgh.. Drake, Big Sean, Logic, Kendrick, Childish, Nicki....why are rappers so much better at putting together cohesive albums that flow perfectly well?
Poor Gaga, Taylor, and Bey having to be the only Pop Girls that can.
