lbr, Taylor's music appealed to Country Radio listeners when it used to focus so much on the late 30's - Mid 50's demographic (pay no mind to 2014 when radio started rotating lots of Bro Country because the 18-34 demographic rose in listeners up until late 2014) back when she was focused on country radio playing her music. I mean the amount of #1's she has on that format>>>
The other artist has Hot AC and AC audiences (a mid adult audience as well) to appeal to and they collected a number of hits on those formats.
its pretty debatable, but both artists do in fact appeal to some market of older adults.
However isn't Country radio bigger then Hot AC/Ac stations?

I think I have loved all songs in 1989 now
Wonderland and AYHTDWS are the last songs I bopped and repeated all day long
while from RED, I never really repeat I Almost Do and Starlight
but after repeating the same song all day long, I think I go back to New Romantics again
truly pop gem and best pop song this decade so far, and I'm sober saying this
