Double Rainbow is still amazing to me, especially when she sings "one man's trash is another man's treasure". I remember thinking the same back when the album dropped because of a guy who refused to quit a dead relationship for me. He said I was his wake up call when I asked him out randomly at a local shopping centre (I know, it was just like that, but something special happened at first sight so I didn't care). He was too lost, afraid and I just couldn't make the leap of faith, even though we talked through a night. A month later he called me and said I can't get out of his head and I made him believe in himself again but he still didn't do anything about it, it was even worse than saying he doean't care about me. I was so heartbroken, like we feel the same special something, the spark, why can't we make it a fire? I could have, he didn't have the courage. Since than I always avoid the shop he's working in but he keeps popping up in my mind.
I dunno why I was writing that in here, but this was the time PRISM got released and that album means so much to me. Legendary Lovers, Ghost, Double Rainbow, Choose Your Battles... It really important that you need to be in the right time and place to fall in love with an album. And I did, it's been 1,5 years and nothing changed. It's definitely one of my favorite records and it represents a part of my life. Sorry for the biography ****, I just felt like writing it out.

Katy really does relatable pop music well.
From what I've heard from my friends and by reading reviews on Amazon (yes I do that sometimes ) people who don't always demand the freshest production or bopworthy melodies really like PRISM, simply because the themes that it presents are so down-to-earth and accessible. Katy, the speaker of our generation.

Just let it go already.
Objectively, TIHWD is a song that incorporates singing and beaucoup de talking about her Santa Barbarian ( ) party life. Let us have our subjective opinions

The whole song is beautiful, just like TOTGA. I think hearing the latter was the first time when I got my eye on her. It's still my absolute favorite Katy song as well. I'm a sucker for bittersweet music and TOTGA, DR (and even PRISM) are that.

I wouldn't mind if the next record would be something like the 3 deluxe songs tho. They're pretty great.
