That's because Barbara Streisand fits into a societal mold of "how you're supposed to behave and look as an older woman," so of course no one attacks her. Madonna doesn't fit into that mold, which is threatening, mostly to older women, ugly women, and chauvinistic men, so she gets criticized a lot. But she's going to fight it until she's dead, and then she's going to be respected after she's dead as a strong figure in feminism and for fighting vehemently against ageism. Every trailblazer in history, like Joan of Arc, No$tradamus, Martin Luther King, and Madonna, are always respected only
after they're dead, never while they're alive and fighting the causes and going against the masses. It's the human condition.
