I thiiiiiink that might be why they aren't releasing the song officially for some time. But Best Original Song is a weird category. It isn't too shocking if an early song makes it in.. just whether or not it makes it in is pretty much the question, it's such a random amount of songs. Remember when that song from that movie only fourteen people saw made it in over Young and Beautiful and other songs and got disqualified?
