And after 16 or 17 years in the industry, Britney is still not recognized for her talent, whatever that may be. nnnn @ Tony saying he doesn't know what she does. I don't even think it was him being senile. It was just being a shady old man.

Like the banal, mopey, woe-is-me drivel crap getting spewed out now is going to age well and be remembered in a decade and a half's time. It's pop music; there are trends and sounds it goes through, and eventually, people move on. Britney led one movement, while singer-songwriters are leading this one, and God knows who will lead the one after that.
And who gives a damn about what that Frank Sinatra wannabe thinks or knows? I can guarantee you can find many other hags his age who don't know what Lady Gaga does or even is. And what should I care? Britney NEVER marketed herself on her talent, nor did she care about what people thought about her talent. I know that she's a pop star who serves a purpose different from someone like Gaga or Adele, but you don't see me whining about it.
Also, let's not play the "Your fave" game because I've listened to my fair share of Miguel's music and let me just say I understand why The Weeknd is the one seeing success.
