They'll have one more Japanese album, followed by one more Korean album, after which Yunho will probably enlist in Q4 this year and Changmin will probably wait until summer next year. Would be surprised if they both enlisted at the same time given their age gap.

Though since JYJ are enlisting this year in a dream world they'd all enlist at the same time and have a fairytale reunion and become best friends again and when they're discharged they'd run off into the sunset

Is there any reason companies don't encourage their idols to enlist towards the beginning of their career? It'd be much more convenient to put in a continuous stream of promo into 20-year olds who've already got it over with, right? That way there's no hiatus.

Just a little unfortunate that Ledubelbe's failure came at a time when they kinda needed to be successful, especially since YG, Cube, etc are all thriving compared to SM.

At least CSJH won #1 awards before entering their current 7 year hiatus

Sounds like a nice way to wrap up before enlisting. It's so much more efficient for a group like TVXQ to comeback after enlisting, given the longest they'll be away is like 4 years. Compared to groups with large numbers.

jk, try Big Bang, they're the brother group of 2NE1. Winner is also from the same company.

Crush is a Korean R&B artist with an amazing voice, his album Crush on You is on spotify and is extremely well-crafted hiphop/R&B music.

For girl groups, I personally like A Pink and AOA. They are pop though. A Pink has a throwback sound from the 2000s pop sound and is pop/R&B. You should start with their latest song 'Luv' and work backwards. AOA is very breezy pop. VIXX is sort of MJ-styled pop and is very theatrical.
