Like I don't understand what else I can do, I hate compliments... Its just something ive always hated since I was a kid.
But you don't have to rebel so violently against them, even if you don't believe it, just say thanks. Acknowledge it and move on, there's plenty of us who get none.
Just yesterday my cousin was like "you have a big nose" and I of courses laugh, but it just reinforced the idea of surgery. I know I won't be able to get it for another few years and thats fine, but I want it done.
luke this is what it comes down to. even if you're not trying to fish for compliments, that is how it's going to come across to other people. So don't be surprised when someone doesn't like it when you do that type of thing. It's not that difficult to just say 'thank you' and leave it at that
