I've tried countless times and I do have those moments where I'm like "oh My god, you look great! Get them luke!", but that's rare. I wish I could be more appreciative of compliments but I just can't accept them.

The thing is, constantly refuting other opinions makes you look a bit arrogant, or fishing for sympathy, which we all do now and again but it's a bit too much

well it's pretty common for math to be a general education requirement even if they don't require it for your major so that's one thing that lowers your chances, although that depends on the university. also, a lot of less math-oriented majors still have to take statistics, which is math. so i don't know for sure but the number's pretty small

Well I'm not going to accept compliments If I cant... It doesn't feel right, I don't see how that makes me come across arrogant.

I've told a few people before that I'd rather people didnt compliment me because I don't know how to respond or react. It just feels weird and I feel like they're playing a trick/prank.

If people think I'm cute, that's great, but I'm very insecure and would rather not have compliments until I'm able to accept them. :/
