To be fair, if it was even a thing, she was probably under contract by Virgin Galactic and would have gone through with it. That's not exactly something they'd just let her slip.
With the accident, though, the Virgin Galactic testing is extended for at least another two years. She was probably released from her contract. It may still happen, who knows?
