If Ariana's next album does better than her latest release(I'm not sure how she could) then I would say her and Rihanna are comparable. I don't really see any likeness between them though, like at all. Ariana is way more MOR with her approach to music, Rihanna is kinda hard to pin in one genre, I don't want to even call it crossover because not all of her songs have always crossed over into pop.
I just see no real similarities. And her selling power is just bad for the HUGE promo campaign she's been on.
