d. In the most bare bones sales sense, sure. Just as much sense as mixing streaming into album sales. Because that's the way people "experience" music nowadays. But that's only a measure of interest in one song. Not a full body of work.

It's all about revenue, though. TEA wasn't always around because you weren't able to always purchase standalone tracks from an album. Profit is profit.
