Yet Kesha happened and they didn't because Kesha perfected the art for mass consumption. And she actually writes songs that mean something, not songs that make hipsters feel cool because they're about things that don't make any sense.

I agree that Tove Lo and Kesha aren't really comparable though. I don't like the comparisons. Lorde is still forced but it's a better comparison than Kesha.

But hey, it's fine if you want to consider Tove a better artist in certain aspects. But that's still because of Luke restricting what she's allowed to write and produce. Tove had no filter.
