Bigger in body mass absolutely, She had ONE album that really ******* and suddenly she's the next MJ

Until Adele proves her lasting power and longevity like Rih and Bey both have done then I won't believe she's any better than Katy Perry, Bruno, or any of the other artist who are just enjoying their first few years of success.

Can Rihanna stans stop acting like she's some sort of huge icon for this generation? The only reason she's seeing a spike in relevancy is because of the 'black female excellence' trend (hence why Beyonce and Nicki are also seen as 'QUEENS!!!'), she was nothing besides cheap radio hits from 2005 - 2012 and it'll return that way soon.

And to reduce Rihanna's accomplishments down to a trend dealing with her skin color? Ridiculous, she's been a Staple in Pop, as Bey has been in R&B, and Nicki in Hip Hop.

You're acting like Bey and Rih are complete non factors/Ke$ha level. Adele's album sold really well, but Rih and Bey land within the top 10 of the best selling albums of the year MOST of the time they have released also. Rihanna is one of the biggest digital artists across the Globe, and her career has thrived in the digital era for over a decade.

19 sold well but a good chunk of its sales came from 21 dominating the way it did. i like Adele I do, and I haven't shaded her but I would wait to see how her next albums do before I go putting her above artists who are successful 10 and 10+ years into their career with arguably bigger brands outside of just their music.
