The Sound of Music is possible. If she does perform from it, I'd place money on the title track, "I Have Confidence", "My Favorite Things" or a medley of the musical.
I think you're reaching with the outfit, tbh. "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered" would be a very random choice to honor at the Oscars. No one outside of the theatre community knows Pal Joey (and it's not really tribute-worthy, honestly).
Funny Girl, maybe, but The Sound of Music is more likely with the 50th anniversary. That said, in terms of future career opportunities, they should not and she should not try to remake already-iconic movie musicals, including The Sound of Music and Funny Girl. It would be disastrous.
They could probably get away with remaking ones like Cabaret and Gypsy, movie musicals that aren't remembered by the public. I want her to star in Wicked or Gypsy, honestly.
Also, you mentioned attending the Tonys with Barbra earlier. While nice, I don't think that's going to happen.
There was already a Judy Garland tribute last year, so I doubt it.

Shoot down my hopes and dreams.
I guess it depends on what the context of her performance is. Is it part of an all star medley? That would imply it's another "yay musical films are great amiright?". If it's a solo performance it would most likely be a tribute or a nominated song. The latter would be random, so it's either In Memorium or a notable anniversary (like SoM).
Have we heard anything about other stars performing?
I feel the most obvious conclusion is she's doing In Memorium, which is inspired by a notable death or anniversairy. A la Judy last year.
