Anyway without Spotify it'll be nearly impossible for her to score a #1 there. I really hope she is involved in that new Apple streaming service coming in June.

Blank Space was the most purchased song one week in November, but it didn't go #1 due to the new streaming rules in the UK charts
I feel like Blank Space got a lot more notice because of the actual subject matter of the lyrics. She made fun of herself which got her a lot of praise. The video helped but the song itself had much more social impact than Style does. Style is just a cute song, one of her best romantic songs, NOTHING MORE. There's not much to say about it other than "it's good". It hasn't stirred up controversy or caused different media outlets to talk about it. No one is going to make a "starbucks lovers" joke printed on tshirts and mugs about it. Style is just your plain Jane of the typical mill.
She needs to perform this song and promote it like crazy if she expects this to be #1. She's doing nothing at all at the moment.
