And yet none of them are mentioned or name dropped when discussing any surprise albums by news outlets or anybody but her stale bitter stalkers. It's called pulling a Beyoncé. So yes, she is the blueprint whether you like it or not.

And none of the albums you mentioned were actually "surprise" releases, in the same being as BEYONCÉ.

They all gave an advanced warning. MBV anounced theirs hours before the release, Radiohead announced a date and released a day earlier than expected, the David Bowie release has been dealt with numerous times and kinda releasing a surprise album isn't going to cut it.

What's embarrassing is that y'all won't accept it was promotion cos it's not to your convince. People were anticipating her album and then she "scrapped" it. The SB and Pepsi kept her on the map. Period. Drake has kind of been on the DL. Last I heard of him was in the anaconda video.

I agree that she didn't invent them, the problem that really bugs me about her is that she copies and uses other people's ideas, makes a few modifications and launches it and the media credits her because of her celeb status. It's very unfair IMO.

Billboard (the authority most of you put on a pedestal when it's convenient for your favorite artist) coined the phrase pulling a Beyonce, and every other media outlet ran with it. So take that up with them.
