I think they just mean it gave people a reason to want to watch the video. Her album was only about a month old at the time, so everyone was waiting to see her perform the music live.

FFS release was nowhere near as impactful, and it wasn't trying to be. It's good to see it stabilizing near the top of the chart. Rihanna gonna get another #1 with a country song

I think Ed has more chances of being the Hot 100 #1 next week than Rih does. He is getting very good streaming in Spotify and i believe his video is doing kinda well. Meanwhile Rihanna only has the video which isnt really doing much. Plus Ed has massive Airplay. However, i can definitely see Rihanna getting the #1 in FourFiveWeeks from now!
