The Grammys have never been about the music. Commercial success is always the #1 factor in nominees and winners. If you truly think SWM is the best song of the year in terms of lyrics, production and all around? Lmfao. Get outta here.

Everything seemed to be lining up for Bey. The fact that she did get critical acclaim (for the first time in her career) for the album was just the cherry on top. It was like how everything lined up for Taylor and ADELE in their respective eras.

BEYONCE was not an innovative album musically. Everything on there we've heard before. But it was the IT album of the year so I think most of us thought after all these years, they'd finally reward her with the top prize.

The fact that 19/20 of her Grammys are from the urban fields tho. Lol. So messy.

maybe she'll record her surrogate giving birth and mix it (like the professional sound engineer that she is!!) and turn it into an album

Bey has some great videos, but she has like 23 million cheap ass videos thst just drag her overall videography way down.

Most of the time AOTY goes to random people (by that I mean not "popular"), Tay and Adele are actually exceptions.
