Oh people. It's not just rows there's a stage too you know. They have to fit the seats according to their stage and the passage to the second stage. Imagine the center of the stage, well Bey is sitting at the first seat of the passage. Practically is the second row but no one is sitting in front of her. There's a mini row starting from McCartney going through Rihanna. Which is again center and a bit to the right. It's not rocket science.

it's propably too complex for you to understand or you haven't seen an awards show before. If you took a better look at all the pics you'd have seen that all of them are at the front. Bey & Jay, Paul & Madonna, Katy/Prince and Rihanna. Unless you think that the front row only consists of Katy, Prince and Rihanna.
honestly who gives a **** what row theyre in, it doesnt mean anything. AC/DC are in the seventh row and theyve outsold Jay Z and Beyonce combined with one album.
The row in which Bey is sitting becomes a 2nd row when you get to Annie seat all the way down to the right. Since Bey is placed to far left nobody is in front of her.
