The videos helped album sales more so than the singles, the majority barely got radioplay outside of urban & only 2/6 got official remixes.

I'm talking about the individual CIL (2014 Remix).
But exactly, that's even more reason to release the song. She won't get credit for the album so idk why it's still album only.

Especially when these two lesser known tracks kinda soared to the top after the SB and are still in the top 5 rn.

Hardly. There's no push for it. At some point it was #13 on Billboard and the bitch has yet to publicly endorse it outside a few pics of her drinking 7/11. This "Legend" thing has gone to her head.

I'm saying this as an annoyed stan who wants to see her at least TRY to push her singles.

Performing DrIL/XO once each, sending a tape to the BET awards of Partition, and performing her entire album at the VMAs is the extent she's gone to promote her singles. And it's all v frustrating.

Like how she JUST released the Flawless remix two months ago after months of fans begging.

Bey has been doing this to promote the "let the music speak for itself" concept that goes hand-in-hand with the artistic, creative and experimental vibe of her album. It's a bit contrived of a marketing strategy but it's worked.

It's probably more to do with her having child now. Pre-4, she was all about shoving her face down people's throats. Now, she's a mother, so she has to manage her time.
