I've been applying to university for music courses, one of which focused more on songwriting which I'm really hoping I'll be offered a place at and one of the questions was why I first became interested in songwriting and I just about started screaming "TAYLOR SWIFFFTTTT" at them, she was genuinely a big reason why I became interested in songwriting because I really wanted to tell my story and share my experiences through music and Taylor was the first artist I listened to who was primarily a songwriter so she was a huge influence, particularly in the beginning when I hadn't yet found a sound for myself.
