it devasteted the ratings

but the year before that they both hit those numbers
in fact the avarage for Grey's was 21M

4th Season never hit the 20 million mark. Last time we saw 20+ was in 3rd season. Grey's was able to pull 20-23 million per episode in season two and three. Season 4 was between 15-18 million, and now between 13-15.

Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives are still strong among the shows, and they were strong in the past too; this is the reality. U mad sis?

you need to get a better sense of humour
IMO for those shows it's a hame that they lost bearly 8-9M viewers in just 2 years while others shows have lost "only" 2-3M (well excpt for Heroes which is a whole another case with losing 7M)

well in the past year they have only dropped 1-3 million viewers and they are staying steady now....they arnt like free-falling like you make it out to be, they are still some of the highest watched shows on TV right now. and will continue to be for however long they run.

I think FOX should move their animated shows around. Starting off the night w/ Family Guy and then leading it into The Simpsons would be the smartest choice. At 9:00, they should put the new show (Shut Up Sit Down?) leading into American Dad. Poor KOTH

I know what they're doing, though. They know The Simpsons and Family Guy are their top rated show, while King of the Hill and American Dad are their least rated. To keep KOTH and AD up, they make their top 2 shows the leaders. But if SUSD does good (which is hard to say-- I don't think it will as it looks stupid), then they can make lead into AD. At least until the Family Guy spinoff about Cleveland starts.
