If the songs are receptive to radio listeners, they won't have any problems spinning two songs by the same artist. Look at Get Lucky/Blurred Lines, Fancy/Problem, Break Free/Bang Bang, etc. All of those those songs still ended up being pop radio hits despite being by the same artist.

Thanks but Ellie is the only singer in both songs, I'm not sure if that will affect them.
Radio seems to be picking up LMLYD faster now so if only one song can become huge on radio I hope is LMLYD, the song is doing amazing on iTunes while Outside is just doing okay, I love it but it would probably end up being a top 20 airplay-oriented hit while LMLYD has top 5 potential

I also think that LMLYD will end up killing Outside, Calvin Harris' singles tend to do well on radio but LMLYD is huge on iTunes right now and is radio friendly so they won't ignore it, I hope it explodes on radio really soon so it's sales don't peak way before it's airplay.

If only Calvin had released Outside before Blame then it could have been bigger

Outside has definitely slowed down since the arrival of LMLYD. Outside was getting +200 to +300 updates and now its bullet is only +459. Still, never count Calvin Harris out on pop radio. The last time he flopped was Thinking About You, which only got to around #27. Since then, Summer and Blame have gone top 3.

Yeah, I don't think the song will be able to survive the Grammy onslaught. I think it'll see a trajectory similar to that of 22's, which is unfortunate, since Style deserves to smash more than BS and SIO.
