DJ Mustard does remixes all the time that doesn't mean the artist asked for it.
Most recently he did it with 7/11 you really think Bey called him and asked for that when the song was urban as is

Now originally I thought that the Mustard remix was legit af and would have an added verse for both Kanye and Rih. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if she's "playing dumb" but that's moreso about me wanting to be right

As long as the remix is good and urban radio latches onto it idc

I have really good feelings about the remix. I'm not trying to discredit the song or talk it down. I've been honest with the fact that I'm kind of disappointed. It doesn't matter because I still love all of her discography. But when I heard it I was kind of like "meh" and it's sort of grown on me but I'm still disappointed. For some reason I can just imagine falling in love with this remix though.

And the thing is, DJ Mustard and Rihanna have been working together on R8 haven't they? As if they've met up however many times over the past 2 years and he didn't tell her he would remix her lead. They can't have that little contact with each other could they. I definitely think Rih would have known.

One way or another I believe we're getting the HOME album right now. Or else R8 = Home. If you think about it, why would she release R8 now so close to the soundtrack release. Why is there no signature 'R' logo on the cover?

Maybe because it's just a soundtrack and not her new studio album, after all

No signature "R" on the cover? Because it's a joint single. And "Pour It Up", "Stay", "What Now" didn't have the R logo on their cover.

See now your just being a wee bit delusional. They're not buddies, this song wasn't even made back when DJ Mustard was doing interviews about working w Rih. Kanye and Paul just started working together you really think Rihanna knew 1 year ago 4FS would be her lead?! Or that she had to have it remixed by him? Pls

Oh devo. I had it in my head that they were close. Either way I'm excited for it. Hope it's not ****. I feel like I'm going to love the remix. I want Avicii to remix it to. I'm so psyched for remixes.
