Yesterday I was thinking about how many late 90's household names there were that are still around today. Names that EVERYONE knows.
Like Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce, Christina Aguilera to an extent are names that everyone knew. My elderly father can name all of these people. I feel like those stars are bigger than the stars of today.
So are Katy and Britney. That's why they cannot have any say.
Neither of them receive even a fraction of the hate. Most people who "hate" Katy or Britney do so just because they can't sing or sell sex too much or some crap like that. A lot of people genuinely hate Kanye's guts to the core, and that includes a lot of people who have actually met him. I don't know of any other celebrity who is ridiculed by other celebrities like him or has been insulted by the president himself.
