Still just febuary. i really hope the release is in the first half.

Also i wonder what the first EP will be. I am guessing soemthing wit active careers. if so they should combine it with Open for buisness stuff.

Does anyone have ANY idea on how to make the loading screens go faster in Sims 2. I mean I have a gaming computer and the game just takes so long to load. Like I don't even want to go to any of the other public lots because it just takes too long to load up

i've been waiting for mac and as soon as its out i plan on buying, but for those who have it already, is it worth it?

I've played a few hours.

The new camera.
The improved build/buy mode (a search feature FINALLY)
The load screens
Only having one empty lot available
The improved interactions

So I dunno how to feel. It's not half as bad as people are making it out to be, but it's not worth $60 either. Maybe I'll look into it when it's packaged with an expansion pack and on sale. I feel like they improved a lot on the non-gameplay elements (build/buy, AI, etc) but took away from the gameplay itself to accomplish that.

Pretty much. It's a meh experience. Definitely not worth $60 dollars.

The game is pretty good tbh, apart from the load screens that take way too much time since my pc sucks

But it obviously needs a few expansion packs to become great. The thing I want most is more Aspirations, especially ones that aren't linked to any career since it becomes boring after you complete the few existing ones.

Overall it's interesting for a like week but then you get bored rather easily, some people develop the skills/jobs to the fullest but imo, that means you already got tired and you are trying to scratch for bits of fun.

My sim brought over from TS3. 4 is a lot more aesthetically pleasing than 3 to me, I was able to make a nice modern house for her in like 10 minutes. Building a nice starter in TS3 takes AGES.

During yesterday’s Q3 FY 2015 Earnings Call, Electronic Arts reiterated that The Sims 4 is set to receive “fresh content and gameplay” throughout the year. Additionally, they also confirmed that The Sims 4’s First Expansion Pack will be released sometime in Fiscal Year (FY) 2016, which begins April 1st 2015.

Also according to some rumors it's gonna be related to jobs, like ambitions, which makes me very excited tbh. We are probably gonna get the usual careers that were missing and they're hopefully gonna be more complex than the current ones.

Yeah it will probably be a career EP but i hope they combine it with a Open For Buisness stuff. I am not here for them being 2 EPs.

I also hope they are working on a CAW tool
