I honestly can't believe the grasping at straws and hoping and praying that this is not the lead single and how on EARTH is it Kanye's song when Rih's name is first, she sings most of it, she tweeted it, etc. It has a freakin' radio deal I mean come on! The only reaosn y'all are denying it's the lead single is because of how divisive it is.
Also, do buzz singles actually exist? I thought everyone knew that was a code word for "my single flopped so I'm just going to ignore it now".
Lastly, just because this song is acoustic sounding doesn't AUTOMATICALLY mean artistic growth. Now I do applaud Rih for doing something different. That's great, but this song is just not good at all. Also, for its genre it's actually basic. This is not innovative by any means.
Also, people should stop using iTunes as a way to say it's flopping already. I'm sure it's a glitch because it sold so much and as Rih's comeback single I would expect no less. If it's not #1 by the time iTunes's glitch is fixed, it's clearly embarrassing. She even went for the surprise factor and has Kanye and Paul McCartney on it.
