the radio deal certainly suggests that it could be 'R8's lead, but I'm not convinced by the iTunes banner. they say "new single" for most new releases.

I don't think it's going #1. I don't think it's a smart choice for a lead single, either -- but I still like it. I just think we need to wait for a press release or something before we jump to conclusions about how it'll fit into the 'R8' campaign.

Anyway, this is not the lead single, only a buzz track that she probably released just to feed the fans at least for now. It's cute and all but so unexpected, omg. I hope this turns out to be only a Japanese bonus track or a Target bonus track. In fact, she can keep it to herself if she wants tbh.

I think the lead single will be released around summer and album around September. That would be great, actually. I want a urban bop or a dance bop next time, plz Rih. I'm sure she'll slay lives.

I usually wouldn't stick up for any artists not in the top two tiers of my signature but with an artist like Rih who is so talented and a great businesswoman, seeing 14 year old white twinks posting from the iPhones their parents paid for coming for a song like this because it won't hit number 1 is really quite frustrating.
