Taylor Swift returns for a fifth time to the top of the ARIA Albums Chart with “1989”.
The Taylor Swift ‘1989’ album has notched up its seventh accumulated week at No.1, with the last album to return five times to the top of the Australian charts being “21” by Adele in 2011 and 2012.
Taylor also racks up her eleventh accumulated week from her three No.1 albums, moving her from equal 60th to 51st on the list of ‘Most Accumulated Weeks at No.1: Albums’ alongside The Foo Fighters, Men at Work, Eurythmics and Australian Crawl, whilst for this decade she is now equal third alongside Eminem who racked up eleven weeks from his two No.1 albums this decade.
