A soundtrack is basically a studio record.
Jlo has a song on the soundtrack and I guess she created the song with her songwriters too.
Dreamworks spent 2 years creating the music & the movie with Rihanna.

When interviewers asked her about new music, she should've been mentioning HOME since it's her new studio album, no?

Still a soundtrack. I won't change my mind. R8 is her new studio album. Home's soundtrack is there to bring a musical support to the movie, period.
