Exactly what I thought too, but does this mean? She's writing more on the next album than ever? This is the first song in a while where she has such great credit with writing.
But how about "Do Ya Thing", "Mother Mary" and "Get It Over With"?
Soooo great to see I'm not alone Like, we were waiting for 2 рhuckin' years for RIHANNA's (not dream-works-parents-safe) album, #R8, which even became some kind of meme - and now we get that 8th album in the face of "Home" soundtrack? The fact that it's her big return to music? Ugh. It would be great if fans don't snub it while kids don't use it (they have younger and safer artists to get into). I was not against "Home" project, but I perceived it as extra (2nd) album in a year, "kinda interesting idea", which was to set off R(9 now) and being whole another (but not main) body of work in this period of time. To bring her success in other audiences, while R(9) is slaying our minds. I guess I was not the only one feeling this way... I want her badly to release her own album before "Home"-connected one, and I guess it was initial plan... I don't even mean "releasing R8 in February" or so, I'm already betting (rationally and emotionally) for rihvember not to be overpressed, but, please, even if it takes "Home" to postpone again! (which is not happening anyway, G-rated media giants are not about somehow changing profitable dealings if they don't see more profit in future)
I think Home is legit going to slay (quality-wise), simply because no one is expecting it to.
Just because the music isn't as "mature" as her normal stuff doesn't mean the quality is ******.
also, i feel confident in saying mitus produced the song and co-wrote it with rih. i would be amazed/over-the-moon if she wrote it entirely by herself but let's be real here

It's a good thing her discography ages so well that I can listen to some of her classics to tide me over
