I don't understand why people are acting like this is her first single for her album? Then again I also don't understand how people who stanned for BTD when it came out are now saying they aren't a fan of this just because Ultraviolence now exists.
I love UV but I also love this. This is beautiful.

I think she understands her voice belongs to more cinematic tones - Ultraviolence had those i.e. Shades of Slay, but BTD was full of songs like that.

The super annoying thing about Haynie in my opinion is this kind of glossy sound with "the loon" that runs through every single song. It's tends to drag after a while.
She said that Honeymoon will be more in the vein of jazz of the 50's with some soft grunge. To me, that doesn't sound like BTD at all, because BTD is neither jazz nor soft grunge.

I almost cried of happiness when I heard it 
obviously not recreate it but go back to that sound that is more appealing than UV IMO.
