Nnnnn bye you've shown to be an Ed hater, more dreams of Edele British Ginger Power for me
But tbh, he's one of the few that talented enough to even hold up to her at all. People seriously underestimate his vocals and range. I swear, his voice is so strikingly on pitch that you physically feel it when you see him live (especially when he's performing against Taylor on EHC, whose voice is the exact opposite way...), and if you hear things like his cover of "Make It Rain" from SoA, you'll see he's great at the smoky, sultrier stuff we always love when Adele does...not that Adele isn't completely capable of stepping back into his more acoustic signature style like she did with some of her own stuff on 19.
The main problem is that he is voice a bit too high in comparison to hers, but that's even more the case with Sam Smith who everyone's always talking about her singing with, so
The best match vocally atm is probably Hozier, but idk if he's big enough yet.
