UK Music Week:
Cooling its heals at number four for the past three weeks, Taylor Swift's 1989 has also never departed the Top 10, albeit in a shorter chart career, which thus far extends to 12 weeks. By far Swift's longest-running Top 10 album, it seems certain to become her third album to sell upwards of 500,000 copies, and ultimately her biggest UK seller. It sold 19,736 copies last week to bring its to-date tally to 456,719. Ahead of it are 2009's Fearless which only ever spent one week in the Top 10 but has sold 506,901 copies, and 2012's Red, a Top 10 fixture for four (non consecutive) weeks that has sold 526,852 copies so far. 2010 album Speak Now also spent a week in the Top 10 but trails Swift's other Top 10 albums badly, with a current tally of just 173,582 sales.
Blank Space remains at No.6 (31,867 sales) for Taylor Swift
