OK I just watched Cake and even if Local Ani didn't deserve an Oscar nod (which she did), Adriana Barraza deserved a Best Supporting Actress nod. I loved every second of every scene she was in.

the fact that Kelly Clarkson turned down a $10M offer from Clive Davis in exchange for letting him replace 5 tracks on My December with radio friendly hits

what kind of artistic integrity
What kind of idiocy, you mean? Like, take the check and radio hits. Most artists don't even get paid when they're forced to sell out, ungrateful bitch.

And now she's releasing songs like Heartbeat Song.
The scene where
she sees her son's killer and forces him out of her house
was incredible. I literally had to watch rewind it and watch it twice because she did that. My heart broke. I laughed, I cried, I felt Claire's pain, I felt sympathy (mostly for AngeliNO) ugh.

My December was a masterpiece tho
what if Clive swooped in and replaced Sober, Irvine, or Judas with Heartbeat Song?
If Usher's song is a hit, Britney might as well release Brightest Morning Star as a single, they basically have the same instrumental. Dr. Luke his recycling. I use to think it was exaggerated by ATRL...but nope his songs literally are the same. Oh well, not as bad as DJ Mustard.
Yes but unfortunately all of his songs are addictive at first. He even recycled Crazy Kids & Low for the new G.R.L. single and it still sounds good.
