Sorry if someone already asked, I'm too lazy to check.

SIO fell out of the T10 for one week, so it makes it ineligible to tie/break Starships' record. Nicki debuted and stayed there for 21 consecutive weeks.

CMA affects only HDS chart, not Hot 100 chart purporses

A lot of 1998 debuts seemed to debut weeks/months after the album was released, but it doesn't appear that it has happened since then. As for how many happened before then, I'm not sure.

He's asking about a song debuting in the top 10 that had been available for purchase for quite some time. Most top 10 debuts are premiering singles.

Harlem Shake is the only one I can think of. It debuted in the top 10 and was available for quite a while before.

Ah, then I think only Harlem Shake and We Might Be Dead By Tomorrow have done that so far.

No one said that that's the only achievement possible when it comes to that thingie.
Though I think it's kinda a non-achievement either way.

Say a song gets ~2M streams, ~2M AI, and no sales in the tracking week; could it debut?

Between 1995 and 1998 Billboard had a rule in place that no song could debut on the Hot 100 Singles [Chart], as it was called at the time, unless the single had enough sales points to place on what was at the time the Hot [Physical] Singles Sales [Chart], which was 75 positions deep at the time (now its down to just 15 positions, and I wish they had left HSS at at least 25 positions).
Prior to that, the first two weeks on the Hot 100, which dated the week of the single's release, were airplay-only points, with sales not kicking in until the third chart week. After the end of the 1998 Chart Year, Billboard dropped the requirement for a song to have to be an actual single to reach the Hot 100, dropping "Singles" from the title of the Hot 100 [Chart].

I would say closer to 20 million on AI, and even then it would be quite a challenge, but it is possible.

Songs often do get a boost the week the CD/Digital Album is released, and can see a decline in downloads as people begin to start the CAM process (notice how both of Trainors and Ronsons slipped a little last week, but we won't know the full CAM affect until Billboard tells us. Soundscan and Billboard do not subtract the transfers from singles to albums against the songs position, but the HDS rank and totals will drop. Sadly, with Billboard down to just giving us the Top 5 performances on HDS, this will be harder to track.

G.U.Y. comes to my mind. It got exactly 2M streams, 8M AI and around 20k sales. It debuted at #76.
So it could be close, around 95-100.

24M+ views for Sugar. About 36 hours left until the tracking period ends.

Probably most of those views are from the States alone.

Actually, Maroon 5 is a very international act, I was impressed tracking previous' videos of them. I think less than 30% of those views are coming from the US

So I just watched the video and most of the weddings look fake and upstaged until like the very end of the video. It's my least favorite by them so I don't get why it became viral.
Even animal which was very controversial couldn't do it.

It looked sincere, the "Sugar" weddings. That's all that matters in the end, though, cause GP loves weddings as many songs and such have gone viral because of wedding dance to them or whatever.

Only one I can think of is "Take Care", though it wasn't a single yet when it debuted in the top ten.
