Mariah's writing on that song was generic as hell and her vocals were even worse. The run at the end is what saves it.
It's not my favorite Mariah ballad, but she wanted it and they should have let her released it. If they had, the era wouldn't have gone downhill And they had ruined Butterfly's single release 2 years ago, so they kind of owed it to her

My favorite Mya song is "For The First Time". It gives me STRONG Mariah vibes.
