Yup. TIHWD would have been a top 10 hit with radio support. I mean it's no We Can't Stop (3x plat with a 60m AI peak), but it managed to do decently for a fifth single with Madonna sized airplay. I just hope Katy doesn't try to replicate the success of a song in the future like she did with Birthday and International Smile (It's my guilty pleasure but it still screams Teenage Dream reject). Just no more guilty pleasures from Katy from now on.
And that's EXACTLY what I've been saying all along. All of those "Self-aware" praise reviews she got at the beginning of the era were detrimental to her actual self-awareness. Thank God she's not that critically acclaimed, or we would have it worse.
I know she has it in her to achieve great things in the future, that's why I never once said she's over.

Many members don't even want to post on the base because of some members' dramatic posts....like stop already 
. Tell me one artist with 2+ years of career that has all of her singles on the top30 being gold certificated like Katy does. No one. Birthday was huge on the radio, TIHWD is huge on streaming, you can't describe them as flop singles. For Katy yes, but not generally.
