I feel like Post was more pop/melodically driven than Homogenic which makes it easier to digest for someone who's casually listening.

I Miss You for example, is kind of a bop.

Then they can go ahead and go listen to Homogenic and have their lives changed now that they know what they're in for.

Hmmm, it's been awhile since I visited Post so I might relisten to it here. I just remember only like a couple of songs from the album, then I heard Homogenic and then ended up getting my life from her discography.
