I thought it was decent but yeah it could have been way better. I feel like these movies just haven't lived up to the premise yet. Maybe it's the lack of budget, I don't know. I wish Anarchy had been creepier and not a Splinter Cell mess like it turned into by the last act

Ouija was nothing short of a waste of time. Unoriginal, uneventful, and weird pacing. There's not a single redeemable quality to the movie and the plot was predictable. The best part was probably the credits sequence

Just finished "The Scarehouse" and have a mixed reaction to it. On the positive side, the plot was a nice twist on a group of people we see too often in horror, namely slashers, and kind of took things to the next level. This wasn't the traditional "murderer comes into sorority and stabs all the hot girls in bras" type of horror, it was much more advanced and grim. The killings were executed well and gross, but really interesting. especially the corset! like, damn!

However, the movie was serving serious Funny Games with the way they kept making you cheer for someone, just for them to get screwed by the most annoying character a few minutes later ; which really irritated me and hindered the overall experience. Those kinds of films always get on my nerves, though- I want happy endings! Seriously, the gay in me was hurting watching all those hot, alternative universe versions of me get shot down like that. The ugly girl getting away with all the crimes in the end was so aggravating- they should have just stopped it after they both hung themselves, instead of being all extra with the ~bonus shock~

but yeah, it was a pretty good film overall.

It's average. The build up to the Babadook is so much greater than the reveal which was kinda cheesy...

I watched As Above So Below the other day and I loved it. I don't care, I know it got terrible reviews, and I know the ending is so lame, but I loved it. I actually found it quite scary. I'm not claustrophobic, but being stuck underground is a lot scarier to me than anything supernatural, because in my opinion, the former could actually happen while the latter couldn't.

Plus, I actually liked all the characters (except that moron Benji) and felt sad whenever a character died.

That said, the cheesy ass BELIEVE IN YOURSELF / POWER OF LOVE ending JUST about killed the whole movie for me. If they had done the same movie with none of that ******** (focusing more on the terror of being trapped underground) I would have liked it more.

Maybe try but if its too disturbing don't.

The dog is strangled. Albeit the scene is short, its quite graphic. If you need to pass on it pass.

I actually went back to check and its around 1:09:23 - 1:09:45 she tries to at 1:02:43 - 1:02:55 but it runs away

Babadoock is some ****ed up **** out there. It was scary in a way that make me feel quite uncomfortable.

I just watched And soon the darkness. It was pretty decent. Nothing too major or high budget, but it was enjoyable.

Amber Heart's performance slayed. She acted the hell out of that role. She made the character so believable.

As Above, So Below is a awesome movie! Really entertaining and thrilling and the theme is superb. It sorta lacked in character development tho. I mean we don't know **** about the third guy who survived lol.
