That's complicated! Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil are probably the whitest nations in Latin America, but the statistics are unreliable. If you ask based on identification, it's like 83% of the country... but in genetic studies, it's really 70% of the country.
Similar issue in Brazil. People judge race by looks so if they are over 3/4 white, they look white and identify as white and people call them that.
They do it in USA too. My classmate is 1/4 Native American, but she looks lily white so she's identified as it.
