and 1989 will outsell Fearless. The Lord never peaks. Especially not with her first/second album! How embarrassing is that who wants to have a frontloaded career that no one remembers

"Love Story" has sold 5.7M in the U.S. SIO has sold 5.2M WW.
"You Belong With Me" has sold over 4M in the U.S. BS has done 3.5M WW.
Taylor peaked with her second album and that peak wasn't even half as big as Britney's. Then again, I can't expect you to be knowledgeable when you don't even know Taylor's stats.

The 80s has a different roof thanks to the introduction of new media types like cassettes, CDs, etc. It's part of why the 90s look so big thanks to the creation of CDs and the rush to replace cassettes which made catalogue sales bigger than ever.
If Taylor's peak is as big as Britney's then she should have no problem approaching that roof.

Except she couldn't with an extra day, digital music, more retailers, Starbucks, Papa John's, discounts, a considerably lower average price, the end of daylight savings time adding another extra hour to her extra 24 hours, etc. What else could she possibly need?
