Yet, what message does it send to younger folks, who see's a person like Polanski convicted of a felony, and rather than atone for his actions, escapes to another country where he cannot be extradited.
And rather than shun any further work he may release, he receives plaudits, acclaim, sponsorship, awards.
How can that even happen? How can anyone even be remotely fine with that scenario playing out?
