Honestly though they're still going to need to do a whole lot of promo to get anyone to care about her. I feel like it would almost be beneficial if they made her into a TV personality type celebrity before she even puts out music, or put out some kind of buzz track, have her go around and perform it + be on talk shows, then put out the real single.
It was recently reported that 2NE1's Dara gave out her credit card to her fans who helped delivered coal briquettes in the cold weather.
Fans recently spotted a friendly exchange between Dara and the fans who helped at a charity event on Twitter.

Fans jokingly tweeted to Dara saying, "Unnie...can we exceed the limit on your card?..." However, Dara answered back generously, "How do you know my limit...!? Eat everything you want, don't be shy~ The food there is really good!!! Oh! Don't forget to order Tangsooyook (Sweet and Sour Pork or Beef)! It's really yummy~"
The considerate idol even encouraged the fans to eat more and tweeted, "When you use my card, I get a text message on my phone. You should get dessert too!"
Meanwhile, one fan had posted up pictures of the delicious food that they had eaten and thanked Dara for the meal, making fellow Blackjacks jealous.
I didn't know that Bom little business was THAT good.
Break down of Kpop artists from big 3 that truly tried to break into the US....BoA was behind the wave...she should've released a midtempo as that and ballads were the only things that female artists were selling. Wondergirls failed as they waited to ****ing long to debut in America...they were exposed in 2009 and Like Money didn't come out til 2012 and never actually released their american album. Se7en flopped because of bad management and his songs kept leaking. Lastly their Korean companies were all in charge of managing their US promotions which Korean Music industry is completely different than that of the US so therefore the same business model used in Korea is not feasible.
BoA with Eat you up Oct 21 2008

Now take this information and look at CL. She is not being managed by YG while in the US but by Scooter. +1
Secondly she is not get hyped for years to finally just put a song out. +1
Lastly, none of her music has leaked which could effect her perception of changes plans in her debut which could lead to subpar results. She is coming out in a time where to be honest, musically there is no set trend of sonics and her vocal ability is on par with those who top the charts. +1000
'Rebirth' is obviously hyperbole. AFTERSCHOOL have been non-existent in Korea since June 2013 bar that one Brave Bros song last year, it'll be their return to the Korean music scene, probably over 2 years since they were last there. Juyeon's gone, I still have a feeling someone else is leaving (Yo Junga!) and probably a new member or two will be added. They definitely won't be the same group they were when 'First Love' was released. It'll be a completely different ballgame for them when they return.
I'm behind this idea completely.

So is Hong finally throwing away BTOB? Might as well, at this point he's ruined whatever percent of potential they had. Melodies and BTOB themselves DESERVE a full-length. Their WOW promotions in Japan were better than any promotions Cube has given them since ever. stanning for them is like stanning for a failed project. We NEVER get proper promos, we still haven't received a full album, and only certain members are getting attention I.E. Sungjae. He's more relevant than BTOB has EVER been.
A mess. I don't expect anybody to even pay attention to this rant because its ABOUT BTOB. That's how irrelevant they are. So this is basically useless. I'm so over it.

"REBIRTH OF AFTERSCHOOL"? I guess because Jungah might also be leaving? They better not let OC graduate because they did not promote E-Young and Kaeun much in Korea to carry the group. At least when Kahi left they had UEE, Nana being the popular ones, and Lizzy rising in popularity.
