The Town That Dreaded Sundown was pretty decent. Didn't know it was a remake

Just finished "The House of the Devil" and thought it was really boring. They did a great job setting the 70s theme and whatnot, but I felt that I was having a difficult time becoming invested and hyped, and the ending was a complete let down. Everything about the movie was predictable and underwhelming.

It has got to be THE MOST annoying movie ever
More annoying than the first
The bitch Latina girl Cali is the worst
Even worse than the dumb kid from 1
Asking all this crap and not being generous like she should be
Turning into The Hunger Games wtf
The dialogue
The creepy masked men in the beginning being lame af in the end
Ugh such a waste of good premise

It was a great premise for a horror but instead of taking advantage of that, they just shifted into action. Although I liked it for what it was, an action movie, I can understand why people are angry at them misleading and mispitching it as a horror movie.

Have you heard of Pontypool? I really liked that movie. It was more of a atmospheric kind of horror instead of the traditional visual kind of horror. You might find it a bit boring or slow-paced in the beginning though. But I really loved that movie
