And I wouldnt mind it TBH.... She could release 1-2 singles from the OST if she wanted and still could release her own album at the same time

Same, and that would actually be a good idea to promote the DVD and it would fit with what Dreamworks CEO said (not a traditional soundtrack). Plus if the songs were made to accompany different scenes of the movie it'd be logical to release the album with the DVD.

I'm waiting for receipts tho.

Well when Jeffrey is referring to "not a traditional soundtrack" he simply means it's a studio album/concept album by Rihanna. But true it would help promote the DVD but most of the tracks would leak online like 6-8 months before the DVD soo it wouldn't be beneficial in the end.

Maybe they'll release a "deluxe version" later with the DVD around the holiday 2015 season considering that most of their March releases go on DVD in Oct/Nov.

I heard from a friend, my friends cousin works at HMV. Ill get back to you guys about it.

I think it seems like a good idea, Home hits cinemas in March and probably won't be released untill late summer. It's a good strategy, Home is intended for 4-12 year olds, the concept album will be for the navy, and anyone else who enjoys the music in the film.

So that means R8 could come this quarter.

I just find it odd how he could know about a dvd release this early does anyone's family/friends work in stores like HMV/Target/Walmart?
