I watched last night and the show has potential. It reminds me of Power in a few ways. I think it would be much better if it was on a network like HBO or Showtime but it's still early in the season.

The son who raps is a horrible actor, by the way. I'll be turned in next week. If anything, social media will keep this show alive.

I love Taraji P Henson and will hang in for a few episodes for her; I know it's not cool to let an actor's personal life influence my view of their acting but with TH, I can't help it - I tried but I can't get past it. Doesn't happen to me often but when it does, it colors my view of the person and their work. Oh well.

Without the different layers brought to it by Taraji P Henson, I'd be out as of today but she's a hoot to watch in this as in everything she does.

omg this show is a hot ass mess but i still luv
cookie and the singing son were my favorite (and his boyfriend and him are both seriously cute)
least favorite was that douchey luxury rapping younger son. just his rap voice alone annoys me, and his raps were mostly laughable tbh. i'm not sure if were seriously supposed to think he's some great talent or just his daddy's pawn and leech. the older son seems kinda diabolical, but i'm interested to see where he goes. white girl seems like a gold digger.
